All base frits are produced in an ISO 9001: 2000 accredited facility. Full “batch to batch” traceability from raw material to finished glaze. Each batch of lead free frit is subject to lead determination tests to ensure that it does not exceed 0.1% PBO. Application: Our powder glazes can be applied using a variety of methods. Both hand and automated dipping and spraying techniques can be used with proper use of flocculants and deflocculants. All glazes are available in powder, slop or brush on form.
38N100: Glossy white zircon based lead free glaze. Good all purpose white glaze. Firing temperature 980°C – 1080°C.
38N101: Glossy white zircon based lead free glaze with additives to suit higher firing. Firing temperature 1020° - 1140°C.
38N102: Low solubility, high gloss tin white glaze. Firing temperature 1020°C – 1100°C.
38N103: Excellent general purpose lead free transparent glaze. Will fire between 1000°C and 1130°C. Optimum temperature 1040°C – 1080°C.
38N104: Higher firing lead free transparent glaze. Will fire between 1020°C and 1150°C. Optimum temperature 1060°C – 1100°C.
38N105: Transparent low solubility glaze. Firing temperature 1000°C – 1080°C.
38N106: Low solubility china glaze. Firing temperature 1060°C – 1160.
38N107: Higher firing low solubility transparent glaze. Firing temperature 1060°C – 1120°C.
38N108: Low solubility transparent glaze. Firing temperature 950°C – 1040°C. Can be coloured with stains and oxides, although not suitable for chrome/tin pink. Particularly suitable to gas firings.
38N200: Mid temperature low solubility transparent glaze. Firing temperature 1100°C – 1150°C
38N300: Low solubility, high temperature tin white glaze. Firing temperature 1180°C – 1260°C.
38N301: Lead free transparent stoneware glaze. Firing temperature 1240°C – 1280°C.
