The Jigger Jolley arm is constructed of aluminium alloy with phosphor bronze bearing inserts adjustable for centring or any eventual ware. Standard plate or cupheads are available and special heads and profile tools can be supplied to customers specifications.

5274 - Potters Lathe
This machine construction consists of a 1/4" steel base with two aluminium plates at each end where the bearings are mounted. The shaft is 1 3/8" diameter with a 1" Whitworth thread. The motor is a 1/2 Hp A/C which transfers its drive to the shaft via a V belt
and pulley. The speed is controlled by an A/C electronic speed controller complete with a reversable facility. The speed is varied by a hand operated knob, a foot operation is available as an optional extra. The machine is totally enclosed for protection and comes complete with an adjustable tool rest and its own base to which the tool rest is fixed.

5277 - Filter Press
This press is constructed from cast iron, whilst the plates are constructed from LM6 aluminium alloy, which avoids the problem of rusting and contamination. The 10 chamber octagonal plates will produce 75Kg of pressed clay in a 2-3 hour pressing cycle. The integral drainage allows the underside of the press to be kept clead, thus allowing a small trolley or pallet underneath the machine to collect the cakes. This drainage system also allows pipe work to be kept at one end making for a neat compact unit. Blungers, pumps etc. can be supplied with the press to
customers requirements.
